Turkish businessman's body found 68 meters under the sea after disappearing

After 19 days of intensive searching, the competent Turkish authorities have found the body of businessman Halit Yukay, whose boat was found half-sunken and damaged off the coast of Artaki, in the Sea of ??Marmara, at a depth of 68 meters.

The thriller that began on August 4, when businessman Halit Yukay set off alone from Gialova to Mykonos, on his boat, "Graywolf", had a tragic end. That same day, at 15:10, his relatives notified the authorities, as they had no news of him.

On August 5, at around 2:30 PM, a merchant ship sailing near Turanköy reported that parts of the boat were half-submerged on the sea surface.

From that moment on, a large-scale operation began, involving forces from the Southern Promontory Coast Guard, the General Directorate of Coastal Security, and special maritime police units from Samsun, Dardanelles, Izmir, and Gialova. The search continued uninterrupted for more than two weeks./CNA
