The people involved in the incident that occurred in Komoran, Drenas, where there were also gunshots, have been escorted to the police. The Chief Prosecutor of Pristina, Zejnullah Gashi, has stated that the incident is not related to the electoral process, but to a conflict that began three weeks ago.

"The reasons for the conflict are not known in detail, but according to the first information we have, this is related to an early dispute, dating back three weeks. The three suspects are involved in robberies and other ordinary crimes and are not related to the electoral process," said Gashi.

The escort of the persons involved in today's incident was also confirmed by the spokesperson for the Pristina region police, Flora Ahmeti. The latter informed that only one vehicle was damaged by the shooting and no people were injured.

"Today at around 14:30, information was received about a fight and gunshots on "Shpëtim Robaj" street in Komoran. No injuries were reported. Upon receiving the information, the police went to the scene of the incident, where they found that there had been gunshots and only property damage was reported (damage to the vehicle). Regarding the case, the police have accompanied two people involved in the case to the police station. Currently, the police have started work to clarify the circumstances and motives that characterize the event. Based on the information so far, the incident is not related to the election process," said Ahmeti./CNA
