Incidents in local elections / Prosecutor in Kosovo provides details

The national coordinator for elections, prosecutor Laura Pula, has shared details regarding the progress of the electoral process.

The prosecutor has stated to the media in Kosovo that there are 7-8 cases that have been reported as incidents, but after verifications it has been confirmed that no criminal offense has been committed.

He also announced that no one has been arrested for voter fraud in these local elections so far.

"There are 7-8 cases that have been reported as incidents, but after receiving the information and after their proper verification, it has resulted that we are not dealing with a criminal offense and therefore we cannot say that today we have people arrested for a criminal offense related to vote misuse in local elections," she said./CNA
