According to Booking's Traveler Review Awards, this year's ranking is based on reviews collected from over 309 million customers.
The top ten most welcoming countries list also includes other EU countries like Poland, Croatia and Portugal, reports SchengenVisaInfo.com.
Booking's Traveler Review awards show that Brazil's Arraial d'Ajuda took first place as the world's most welcoming destination, followed by Ermoupoli in Greece, Viana do Castelo in Portugal, Daylesford in Australia and Grindelwald in Switzerland.
