Pence again against Trump/ His reckless words endangered my family

Former Vice President Mike Pence harshly criticized former President Donald Trump for his role in the attack on the Capitol on January 6, 2020.

Criticism deepens the rift between them, as they prepare to secure the candidacy of the Republican Party for the upcoming presidential elections.

"President Trump was wrong", he said in his speech during a dinner with politicians and journalists. "I had no right to overturn the elections. His reckless words endangered my family and everyone in the Capitol that day. I know history will hold Donald Trump accountable," Mr. Pence said.

Kjo ishte deklarata më e ashpër e zotit Pence, i cili shpesh i është shmangur përballjes me ish shefin e tij. Zoti Trump e ka shpallur tashmë kandidimin për President të Shteteve të Bashkuara. Zoti Pence nuk e ka bërë ende një gjë të tillë, por po përgatit terrenin për kandidim.

Përpara 6 janarit, zoti Trump i bëri trysni zotit Pence të përmbyste fitoren në zgjedhje të Presidentit Joe Biden, i cili kryesonte në rezultatet e certifikuara zgjedhore. Zoti Pence refuzoi ta bënte një gjë të tillë dhe gjatë sulmit në Kapitol, u dëgjuan thirrje të tilla si “varni Mike Pence-in”.
