On daily leave from prison/ Turkish convict kills daughter, wife, mother and then himself

A 35-year-old convict, Recep Cengiz, who was on day leave from prison, committed a series of murders that shocked the Turkish capital.

He shot and killed his 8-year-old daughter, Azra, and his mother, Azize, 57, after a fight.

He then dressed up as a postman to trick his wife Beyzanur Uçan Cengiz, 28, who was seeking a divorce. He shot her outside her home.

After these murders, the 35-year-old ended his life. 

Authorities confirmed that all four people were found dead at the scene.

Cengiz had previously been convicted of fraud and threats with a weapon. According to neighbors, he had a protection order from his wife and the marriage ended after about 6-7 months of disagreement between them./ CNA
