Democratic lawmaker Adam Schiff called on President Joe Biden to withdraw from the presidential race.

He made the comments in a statement to the Los Angeles Times on Wednesday. Mr. Schiff is the 20th Democrat in Congress to call on President Bide to step down.

"A second Trump presidency would undermine the foundations of our democracy, and I have serious concerns about whether the president is able to defeat him (Donald Trump) in November," Mr. Schiff, a California Democrat running for Senate, was quoted as saying. american.
