German Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht announced on Tuesday that Berlin had delivered three promised MARS-II multiple launch vehicles to Ukraine.

The news was announced by the German broadcaster "Welt".

In addition, Ukraine received three "Panzerhaubitze 2000" self-propelled artillery installations from Germany.

Also, according to Lambrecht, Germany is preparing to transfer to Ukraine three self-propelled artillery installations, IRIS-T air defense systems (according to the media, Ukraine has decided to purchase 11 such systems) and three armored repair and evacuation vehicles.

Yesterday it became known that Germany has started supplying self-propelled anti-aircraft artillery installations "Gepard" to Ukraine.

We recall that Ukraine will receive three missile launchers from Germany, it was announced in June after the third meeting of the Contact Group for the Defense of Ukraine (Ramstein format).

In recent weeks, Berlin has been criticized more than once for the slow supply of weapons to Ukraine.

This, especially through the so-called circular exchange scheme.

German government officials themselves recognized the supply problems.

The German government previously published a list of weapons being prepared for transfer to Ukraine.

It includes, in particular, 30 Gepard self-propelled artillery systems, IRIS-T SLM air defense systems and M113 armored personnel carriers. /CNA.al
