The Supreme Court has released from detention the three nurses who were involved in the physical attack on an elderly woman in Peja.

As the newspaper Telegrafi reports, the three nurses involved in the attack on the elderly woman in Peja have been released from detention.

The incident for the elderly woman became known after the publication of a video.

In the published footage, a nurse is seen repeatedly attacking the elderly woman, while another one records the entire incident mocking the attack.

The three suspected nurses involved in this case, Aurona Pelaj, Altina Rexhepi, and Remzije Kuqi – Gashi, were ordered to a one-month detention on November 2 by the Court of Peja.

Even the Chamber of Nurses of Kosovo has announced that it has revoked their license.

Meanwhile, the "Orenda" Home for the Aged in Peja, where the incident took place, has been officially closed by the institutions.
