Ahmeti: Early elections will not be held in Northern Macedonia
Meeting with partners of the ruling coalition in Northern Macedonia

The leader of the Democratic Union for Integration (DUI), Ali Ahmeti, in a meeting with the ruling coalition partners, stated that the country needs political stability, to effectively face the global economic crisis.  

“Në takimin e sotëm me partnerët e koalicionit qeverisës rikonfirmuam një zëri qëndrimet tona se vendi ka nevojë për stabilitet politik, pjekuri dhe konzistencë vendimmarrësë për të vazhduar me sukses rrugën e integrimit, përballjen efikase me sfidat e krizës globale ekonomike dhe vazhdimin e reformave”, shkruan Ahmeti në postimin e bërë në faqen e tij në Facebook.

Pas këtij takimi, Ahmeti ka bërë të ditur sem kanë nënshkruar deklaratën për mbajtjen e zgjedhjeve të ardhshme parlamentare në kohën e rregullt të tyre, në vitin 2024. “Mbi këto parime prioritare nënshkruajtëm Deklaratën për mbajtjen e zgjedhjeve të ardhshme parlamentare në kohën e rregullt të tyre, në vitin 2024.  Fokusi ynë në këto çaste vendimtare për ardhmërinë e vendit nuk duhet të jetë gara politike, por zbatimi i pakos së masave të reja ekonomike për të mbrojtur standardin jetësor të qytetarëve”, theksoi ai.

Ahmeti demanded reflection from the Macedonian opposition and an end to the boycott to return to the Assembly. "The progressive future of the country is above any party interest, therefore we appeal to the opposition for rational reflection, unblocking of the work of the Assembly and agreement on issues of common state interest for a better life," said the DUI leader. /CNA.al
