Albanians "obsessed" with luxury cars/ Astounding figures they spent in 7 months

Despite the complaints and dissatisfaction that Albanians express in every way and platform about the economic situation in the country, the desire to own luxury vehicles does not fade.

The latest report of the General Directorate of Road Transport reflects the fact that the costs to buy cars have increased.

In the first 7 months of 2023, Albanians have spent about 44.5 billion new lek on road vehicles that they imported and registered for the first time.

This value is 31% more compared to 2022 and 55% more if we compare with the same period of 2018.

The report reflects the fact that 42,238 vehicles were purchased and the average value per vehicle registered for the first time is 1,033,512 new ALL.

Compared to a year ago, the value of a car is 11.4% higher and 36% more than in 2018./ CNA
