The Albanian club is about to be owned by the Italians, the federation confirms

Gjilan has been without a president for several weeks, since Florim Zuka resigned.

However, the club has continued working normally, even achieving very good results in these first matches where it holds the lead in the Kosovo Super League.

There are interests from abroad to buy Gjilan and one of them is the Italian manager Andrea D'Amico.

The Italian manager is in Kosovo where he aims to find an agreement for the purchase of Gjilan, while he was also received by the president of the Football Federation of Kosovo, Agim Ademi.

It was the official website of FFK that announced the meeting between Adem and D'Amico.

D’Amico e njoftoi presidentin Ademi se qëllimi i ardhjes së tij në Kosovë është interesimi ndaj klubit SC Gjilani, me zyrtarët e të cilit veçse ka biseduar gjatë ditës së djeshme, e po ashtu identifikimi i talentëve kosovarë dhe mundësia që futbollistët tanë të transferohen në klubet evropiane.

Ndërsa qëllimi i takimit me presidentin Ademi ishte informimi nga afër për zhvillimin e futbollit kosovar, për çka edhe e përgëzoi të parin e FFK-së, teksa u diskutua edhe për gjetjen e formave për bashkëpunim me të rinjtë kosovarë.

President Ademi thanked the manager Andrea D'Amico for his interest in football and our players, as he informed him that Kosovo football has made progress in recent years, as it is developing with fast, safe and successful steps.
