An eyewitness to the murder of Pjerin Xhuvan has his life in danger.

The confirmation came from the lawyer of the family of Pjerin Xhuvan, who was killed on April 21, 2021, a week before the parliamentary elections.

Rezarta Tahiraj's lawyer has sent a letter to the prosecutor's office, according to Euronews Albania, to make them aware of the danger to the witness's life.

The same person is said to have testified in the session of February 1, that he saw and that he can identify the two armed persons who, together with others, had surrounded and threatened the victim before he was killed.

The two people are currently at large, making the witness feel his life is in danger.

"With his statements in the process, this witness may have indirectly contributed to the discovery of the mystery of the pistol shells of different calibers examined by the police. The evidence that he saw these two aggressors contributes, among other things, to clarifying that before the arrival of the doctor (Pjerin Xhuvani), among the components of the paramilitary defense structure, there were weapons not only for the killer but also for these two other people and perhaps others.
