Year 2025: Target women to lose weight, men to quit smoking or alcohol

DataCentrum's end-of-year survey - Barometer - Euronews Albania has asked citizens about different objectives regarding 2025. Two of the objectives have been slimming-diet and giving up smoking-alcohol. In these two objectives, it seems that gender differences are the most visible compared to other demographic indicators.

Asked: "What goals have you set for yourself for 2025 - Should I lose weight/diet?" 17.7% of citizens answered that they have it as an objective, while 81.1% of citizens answered that they do not have it as an objective. More women than men have this objective, 22.1% of women indicate that they have it as an objective for 2025, while 13.9% of men have the same objective.

Also, asked by Barometer - Euronews Albania: "What objectives have you set for yourself for the year 2025 - Give up the harmful habits of cigarettes/alcohol"? 15.2% of citizens answered that they have it as an objective, while 81% of them answered that they do not have it as an objective. Men have this objective more than women; 19.6% of men indicate that they have it as an objective for the year 2025, while 10.1% of women have the same objective.
