Today, a farewell is given to Archbishop Anastasios

Today, numerous believers, high hierarchs and clergy from around the world will bid their final farewell to Archbishop Anastasios by participating in his funeral service at 11:00 AM at the Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ.

Representatives and leaders of religious communities, with whom His Beatitude worked for years for interfaith harmony in our country, were present yesterday at the tribute to honor the Archbishop.

Also present for the tributes were many public figures, representatives of political parties, members of the Government, parliamentarians, members of the Academy of Sciences, the Diplomatic Corps, embassies, etc.

Meanwhile, representatives of other Orthodox Churches around the world are arriving to participate in the Funeral Ceremony of Archbishop Anastasios. Among them will be the Ecumenical Patriarch, His Holiness Bartholomew./ CNA
