The rains of the last few days have brought the country 39 million euros in income from the sale of electricity.

Based on information provided by CNA, it results that the high flows in the Drin cascade have caused KESH sh.a. to carry out procedures for the sale of electricity in order to avoid spillage of water.

Specifically, for the period January-June 2023 KESH sh.a. has sold electricity in the amount of 467,833 MWh, bringing the country an income of around 39 million euros.

According to the data provided, the production for the first 5 months for the year 2023 is about 2,400,000 MWh compared to the year 2021 which resulted about 1,471,000 MWh or about 40% more. While compared to the 20-year average, which is about 1,924,000, we are about 20% more./CNA
