The well-known Albanian actor and director, Bernard Kokalari, has passed away at the age of 90.

The bitter news was announced by Tritan Shehu, who said that Albanian art loses a prominent value and that Gjirokastra lost an actor and director with special contributions.

"Benard Kokalari left this life! Albanian art loses a prominent value in it! Gjirokastra an actor, director with great, special contributions. An honorable citizen of it.

Family, loved ones and dear ones. Colleagues, friends, art lovers, citizens as a whole feel only sadness for this loss. Sincere condolences", he writes.

Bernard Kokalari was born on December 30, 1934. He was an Albanian actor and director of the film and theater Zihni Sako in Gjirokastër and one of the first founders of this theater.
