The Minister of Justice, Ulsi Manja, spoke with superlatives about the SPAK in the Assembly, where the meeting of the Monitoring Commission of the Council of Europe is taking place. In this public seminar on "Comprehensive actions in the fight against corruption".

Manja said that SPAK has become a model of success in the fight against corruption and crime.

He stated that the Special Prosecutor's Office is among the most reliable institutions, as it has given the message that no one is above the law.

"The process has restored faith in justice. The creation of an independent system is a factor for the rule of law. We have challenges, the first is that for this process to end successfully, the KPA must end this process with the same standard that the vetting process followed.

Other constitutional bodies of the justice system, including the head of SPAK, should continue with the same reform standards. An innovation of the reform was the creation of SPAK. Today, it has become a model of success in the fight against corruption and crime. It is among the most reliable institutions. The results of the work speak clearly. I want to draw attention to the fact that SPAK is investigating and has tried well-known figures, former presidents, former prime ministers, ministers and deputies and officials. Officials' assets are being seized and confiscated. Crime has been targeted and a significant number have been hit. The message is clear, no one is above the law and everyone will be judged according to the law", emphasized the Minister of Justice./ CNA
