Bad weather with rain and storms/Landslide paralyzes the Librazhd-Përrenjas axis

Intense rainfall has caused serious problems on the Librazhd-Përrenjas axis, where massive landslides have been recorded on several segments of the road.

The storm that swept through the Librazhd area brought landslides from areas where work is underway for Corridor VIII, making vehicle traffic difficult and creating long queues in both directions.

Work is underway on the ground to clear the road and normalize the situation, while authorities are closely monitoring developments.

No injuries have been reported so far, but hundreds of vehicles have been stranded due to the landslides that have blocked the road. Authorities are appealing to drivers to exercise caution while driving on this road. / CNA
