With strategic partnership, Zhan Mitrev Clinic will become a regional clinical

Zhan Mitrev Clinic has become part of the American Hospital network, according to Macedonian media. The partnership with the American hospital will enable this higher health institution to expand its activities and raise the standards in medicine in Macedonia to an even higher level.

"This strategic partnership is a support of the already launched project to transform the Zhan Mitrev Clinic into a regional medical center. In this way, we become financially stronger to grow faster and develop into a true regional center providing health services of much higher standards. According to the agreement, Dr. Zhan Mitrev, as before, will continue to lead the entire operation of transforming the Clinic into a regional center where new medical staff will be trained and developed in the field of cardiac surgery as well as other activities. A greater cooperation with experts from abroad will be enabled, and our knowledge will be used for the medical centers owned by the Dutch Fund, which means expanding the activity of the Jean Mitrev Clinic at the regional level.

The American Hospital was established in 2006 as the first private hospital in the country.

The American Hospital is part of the investment fund Southeast Europe Equity Fund II (SEEF II), a fund established in March 2006 as a result of the joint financing of institutional investors from Europe and the United States of America, of the Investment Agency of US government OPIC (Overseas Private Investment Corporation)
