Manastirliu: 270,000 flu vaccines are provided

The Minister of Health and Social Protection, Ogerta Manastirliu, together with experts from the Institute of Public Health and the doctors of the Infectious Disease Hospital at QSUT, have talked about the preparatory measures by the relevant health structures for the autumn-winter season.

"We are following a plan of measures, which has already been included in the plan of national, annual measures, regarding the protection of life and health of citizens. We have taken measures regarding the strengthening of the surveillance network, the extension of digital systems that they belong to aspects of monitoring, the epidemiological situation and vaccination", said Manastirliu.

The Minister of Health and Social Protection announced that 270,000 flu vaccines have been provided for all at-risk groups.

"Regarding this year, measures have been taken to have 270,000 flu vaccines, which are targeted for the population at risk, and ISHP is working to guarantee that immediately with the beginning of the autumn season, we also have flu vaccines", she added.
