Lorenc Ekonomi won this Friday the competition for rector of the University of Korça.
He was elected rector with 48% of the votes of students and teachers. Ekonomi competed against Robert Damos and Irena Nikaj.
Lorenc Ekonomi received 75 votes from the academic staff and 166 from the students, in the race for rector of the University of Korça.
Robert Damo is ranked second with 47 votes from the academic staff and 226 from the students, in other words with 30% of the votes.
On the other hand, Irena Nikaj received only 9% of the votes. 13 lecturers and 157 students trusted her./ CNA
