KPA upholds the dismissal of Judge Lindita Sinanaj

The Special Board of Appeal, KPA announced on Tuesday, April 30, the upholding of the decision to dismiss the judge of the Administrative Court of Appeal, Lindita Sinanaj. The decision was taken unanimously by the panel of the College chaired by Sokol Çomo, with rapporteur Ina Ramë and members Albana Shtylla, Mimoza Tasi and Rezarta Schuetz, after the review in the advisory room of Sinanaj's appeal against the decision of the Independent Qualification Commission, KPK.

Judge Lindita Sinanaj was dismissed from office on July 8, 2021 due to problems in the wealth criterion. Meanwhile, no problems were found in the cleanliness of the figure and professionalism.

Lindita Sinanaj started her career in the justice system in 1993 and worked for more than a decade as a judge in the Court of Fier. From 2013 and until her dismissal, she worked at the Administrative Court of Appeal in Tirana./ Reporter.al
