Berisha appealed to the police: Restrain yourself, don't be used as cannon

Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha spoke about today's protest and the clashes between the protesters and the police.

Berisha called on the police to exercise self-restraint and not be used as cannon fodder by a gang of thieves.

I call on the police to exercise self-restraint, not to be used as cannon fodder by a gang of thieves. I say to every policeman, I ask him a question: which one of you has married stolen taxpayers' money? Which one of you has taken it upon himself to build buildings 130 million euros and not even a mole is found?

Which one of you in his ward, in his city, in his village, has claimed to have planted not 1 million but 10 thousand trees? None of you.

Which of you has ever heard that the mayor steals 100 percent of the money with tenders. So turn your back on these villains. Altin Dumani, who accuses you of collaborating with crime, is the most defamed collaborator with crime. There is no bigger criminal than Erion Veliaj.
