Mayor Erion Veliaj, in his public statements, has stated that the Municipality of Tirana has donated offices to the Special Prosecutor's Office against Corruption and Organized Crime so that they can work in the right conditions.

In this regard, journalist Klodiana Lala revealed the detail saying that Veliaj made an untrue statement.

Since the building was owned by the Ministry of Justice before it was given to SPAK.

This is Veliaj's next lie that has come to light.

"Veliaj claimed that he had given the building to SPAK as a gift. In this case, there is no truth. It is an incorrect statement by Veliaj. This building has been owned by the Ministry of Justice and then SPAK.

"Veliaj cannot speak for colleagues as either the investigators are mayors or Veliaj is an investigator of SPAK", said the journalist./ CNA
