They demand the construction of an overpass on the Tirana-Durrës highway/ Residents of Yrshek in protest

A protest is taking place today by residents of the Yrshek area, who are demanding the construction of an overpass on the Tirana-Durres highway.

The residents have stated that if the situation is not resolved and their demands are not taken into account, they will block the highway. They have also warned that they will not stop their protests.

"We are not asking for an additional overpass. We are simply asking for the overpass that we were told about. We will hold the protest initially on a secondary road, but if we do not get an answer we will move to the highway ," said one of the citizens.

With the call "We want the overpass", the residents of the Yrshek area have also started a march. /CNA
