Historian Agim Musta, the most current testament than ever: "The greatest evil of this nation remains communism"

On the 5th anniversary of the death of the historian, political prisoner, Agim Musta, his daughters Elizabeta and Suela Musta have dedicated a spiritual message to him. Among other things, they emphasize that his bequests to his co-sufferers and the entire class of political prisoners and persecuted of the dictatorship still remain unfulfilled. In fact, there is no other way, when for more than a decade the country has been run by the sons and descendants of the communist nomenclature who have a silent contempt for the descendants of the persecuted and for those who have remained alive.

Below is the message from the daughters of historian Agim Musta, political prisoner and author of 14 publications on prisons, camps, internment and chronicles of the 50-year ordeal of communist terror.

"Today marks 5 years since your departure, but for us, close people, friends, co-sufferers and many other Albanians, you are alive every day with the thoughts, works, books and many historical articles you left behind.

You were the first since the beginning of the 90s, to create and publish the Map of Dictatorship camps and prisons (which in recent years many organizations have digitized and did not even mention your idea...)

The first to articulate and forcefully insist in every conference and public appearance, for the urgent need of Albanian society for:

---Decommunization (above all as an ideology and a way of acting) from the cleansing of communists from the lowest levels of offices and every institution to the highest ranks of politics and all powers and public spaces.

---Inclusion in the history curriculum in schools from the age of nine onwards, of prisons, internment camps and forced labor, as well as the unprecedented persecution of hundreds of thousands of Albanians in the communist dictatorship.

--- The removal of the names of the communist criminals of the second war and then of the persecutors of the dictatorship from the streets of the capital and other cities of Albania.

---The return to museums and monuments of memory, of the infamous prisons of Spaç, Burrel, Qafë-Bar and the camps of Tepelena, Lushnja, Vlora, etc.

You were the originator and relentless defender of every initiative for historical memory with concern, as you repeated everywhere and whenever: 'The greatest evil of this nation remains communism and the most treacherous anti-Albanian, Enver Hoxha'.

You remain a great patriot, because you leave behind knowledge and messages that stand the test of time and generations.

Proud of you and convinced that we will continue to work in our own way, for the realization of your trusts.
