"The attack was terrible"/ The Albanian ambassador to Turkey speaks

The Albanian ambassador to Turkey, Kastriot Robo, has confirmed that there are no Albanian citizens in the area affected by the 7.8 magnitude earthquake in Turkey.

According to him, the embassy is in constant contact with the central authorities to receive information about the situation of Albanian citizens in Turkey.

“Kur u informuam në lidhje me tërmetin shkatërrimtar të tërmetit të orës 04:07 minuta në zonën e Gaziantepit, filluam interesimin dhe për momentin nuk na rezulton se ka shtetas shqiptarë të afektuar nga goditja shkatërrimtare e këtij tërmeti. Jemi në kontakt me ministrinë e Brendshme dhe të Jashtme turke, si dhe me organizatën për përballimin e situatave të vështira dhe për momentin nuk na rezulton të ketë shtetas shqiptarë që kanë humbur jetën”, ka thënë ai për Euronews Albania.

Ai ka rrëfyer më tej përjetimet nga goditjet tërmetit.
