Farmers, in protest/ The Kallpaq-Janinë road is blocked

Farmers have started a protest on the national road Kallpaq-Janina.

Traffic has been blocked as a result of the protest. Currently, only small vehicles will be allowed to pass.

The Albanian police, after a notification received from the Greek police, declares that heavy tonnage vehicles, trucks and buses, will not be allowed to circulate in this period of time.

"We are informed by the Greek Border Police that until 22:00 the national road Kallpaq-Janine will be blocked due to the protest that the farmers are holding.

Traffic is allowed only for small vehicles.

Meanwhile, heavy tonnage vehicles (trucks and buses) will not be allowed to circulate during this period", the announcement states. / CNA
