The Court of Appeal in Tirana has removed the security measures for 5 IT employees, accused of misuse of duties.

" Referring to previous reports in the media, related to the criminal proceedings for the cyber attack on the equipment and systems that are administered and managed by the ANA, on the requests of the prosecutor, the Court of the Judicial District of Tirana, has assigned to the persons under investigation Mrs. AS, ZIL, Mrs. R. Ll., ZAS personal security measure "obligation to appear before the judicial police", as a suspect for the criminal offense of "abuse of duty"

On the complaints of the persons under investigation cited above, the Tirana Court of Appeal, composed of judge Mr. Genti Shala, with the respective decisions dated 22.12.2022, decided to annul the decisions taken by the court of first instance for the determination of the security measure ” , the announcement states./ CNA.al
