"We only want the road"/ Residents of six villages of the Vlora River in protest

Residents of six villages near the Vlora River protested again today, blocking the road connecting Vlora with Qeparo for minutes.

Residents protest about the road that connects the three villages to each other.

They have only one request, paving the road.

Residents have called on Prime Minister Edi Rama to make this axis functional, just as the Vlora River road was made.

They have sent a petition to the Prime Minister to find a solution to this problem, which is preventing the further development of the area.

"We only want the road, nothing else. Without a road, we have no chance to develop our village," the residents said.

The protest has actually created a blockade for tourists who have decided to spend this weekend in southern Albania./ CNA
