Businesses in Korça obey Rama/ The release of occupied spaces begins

Businesses in the city center of Korça and those in the pedestrian zone have begun to implement the order in the context of freeing up and organizing public spaces.

All businesses that were equipped with temporary permits have had their permits suspended and have been asked to voluntarily vacate their premises by August 2nd.

According to the order, temporary structures that include metal constructions, tents, awnings, platforms and other elements such as vases must be removed.

In the order sent to each entity, it was announced that if measures are not taken by the businesses themselves, after August 2, the municipality's IKMT and the Municipal Police will intervene.

As of this morning, some of the businesses have begun dismantling the metal structures. A representative of these entities will hold a meeting with the mayor, Sotiraq Filo, where they are reported to be requesting an extension of the deadline until September 15./ CNA
