The bus ticket will increase by 70-80 ALL / warns the member of the public

The Public Transport Association is demanding an increase in the bus ticket up to 70-80 ALL, that is, almost 2 times what it is currently, with the argument that they are unable to afford the expenses that have increased as a result of the crisis.

They ask the government for subsidy, otherwise they say that increasing the ticket price is the only way that can help them not to interrupt the service. 

In a "Skype" connection with the show "Albania Live", Kostandin Foni, a member of the public transport association, said that there was no direct request for the ticket price increase.

I pyetur nëse rritja e çmimit do të “ishte një kërkesë e vlefshme dhe a është një alternativë që do zgjidhte situatën?”, Foni u shpreh se në muajt prill-maj janë bërë subvencionimet. Ka vijuar edhe në gusht-shtator-tetor, për t’u ndërprerë në korrik-qershor.

"Në rast se nuk do të ketë një vijim të subvencionimit, kërkesat tona do të jenë po ato që kanë qenë”, ka thënë më tej ai.
