The former Minister of Defense, Gazmend Oketa, was summoned to Spak yesterday in connection with the investigations into the privatization of the former Partizani complex.
In an interview for Euronea Albania, Oketa told what he was asked about by SPAK.
"I was asked in the capacity of a person who knows about this matter and that's it. Any kind of comment other than political overtones would be redundant. Let justice do its job. Yesterday was the first time I was called to SPAK. I would prefer not to comment, it is not a matter of perspective, it is a matter of official positions, we have spoken with documents, with letters", said Oketa.
Furthermore, Oketa has not violated the law regarding the privatization of the former "Partizani" sports complex.
"I assure you that neither in this case nor in any other case have I violated the law. During the time I was minister, these procedures continued", said Oketa. /CNA.al
