The appeal of the GJKKO has left the former IMT inspector, K.Zh., in prison, who is accused of abuse of office and corruption. K.Zh., received a bribe of 1 thousand euros from the owner of a bar not to remove the awning.

The former official offered a financial guarantee of 15,000 euros for his release, but the request was not accepted.

The Special Court of Appeal for Corruption and Organized Crime, with a monocratic panel composed of Judge Igerta Hysi, today on 30.09.2025, announced the decision on criminal case no. 67 act, date 22.09.2025 registration, on the appeal of the person under investigation K.Zh., with the subject: “Appeal against decision no. 89, date 01.09.2025, of the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime, with the subject: Legal validation of the detention and the assignment of the personal security measure “Arrest in prison”, provided for by Article 238 of the Code of Criminal Procedure” and decided:

- Approval of Decision No. 89, dated 01.09.2025 of the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime.

- This decision may be appealed to the Supreme Court within 45 days from the day after the decision is announced.
