US Navy ship USS Mount Whitney postpones arrival in Albania

The US Embassy in Tirana announced in a post that the arrival date of the US 6th Fleet command ship, USS Mount Whitney, has changed and the concert scheduled to be held in Tirana has been canceled.

The embassy announces that the cause was an unforeseen maintenance process and says that it is eagerly awaiting the ship's arrival in Porto Romano.

“ Due to an unforeseen maintenance process, the arrival of the USS Mount Whitney in Albania has changed, and the concert in Tirana, originally scheduled for today, has been canceled. We thank you for your understanding. We continue to look forward to the arrival of the USS Mount Whitney in Porto Romano and to emphasize the close partnership between the United States and Albania ,” the US embassy announced.
