Yesterday, the Minister of Education, Evis Kushi, conducted a training session with teachers, together with the Minister of Youth, Bora Muzhaqi.

In a status on social media, Khushi indicated that the training was for teachers who are teaching the ICT subject for the first time for the first grades in 100 schools.

"Together with the Minister of State for Youth and Children, Bora Muzhaqi, we participated in an hour of training for teachers who are teaching the ICT subject for the first grades in 100 schools for the first time, and who will then contribute to training other teachers across the country.

I thank the Albanian-American Development Foundation for the support in the successful implementation of this program!", she wrote.

But this status of hers was followed by a comment by the forensics expert, Ervin Karamuços, who highlights the minister's unfulfilled promise about the alarm raised by TikTok.

"Almost 1 year ago, you pledged to open a public debate and design a strategy to prevent student deaths from challenges on social networks. In 2021, 2 children (10 years old in Shkodër and 14 years old in Lushnja) died from Tiktok games hanging on the rope. In their memory, all other children deserve institutional help so they don't fall victim to uncontrolled technology," the expert emphasizes./ BA - CNA.al
