The economics expert, professor, Adrian Civici has reassured the citizens, regarding the bank data, after the cyber attack.

In the show "Zone Zero" in Top Neës, Civici said that there is no place for panic among the citizens, as the banking system is one of the safest and most well-regulated sectors.

"A large-scale attack, not only in Albania. It is about a blocking, even if temporary, of the operational functioning of the banking system, or extracting data for citizens. There is no need to panic about concerns about losing money, but even an attack on the banking system in the most extreme case would be a block for several hours, there is no need to worry as the banking system has advanced security measures. The situation will not worsen, the banks are among the best built, well structured. Even in very difficult situations, the banking sector has been more regulated and more stable. Therefore, even if there is an attack, it will be in two directions: extraction of data, but it does not affect the money of individuals, or any interruption of a few hours," said Civici. /CNA.al
