Spotify publishes the list of the most listened songs in its history

Music app Spotify has shared a list of the 10 most streamed songs in its history.

Spotify has become a very popular platform for millions of people searching for their favorite songs and some of them have stayed at the top of the list for many years.

The Weeknd's "Blinding Lights" took the top spot with 4,640,150,204 streams. This song gained the most popularity in March 2020, when it served as the soundtrack for the Tiktok challenge, and since then it has occupied the position of the best song of the year. 

The second place was taken by Ed Sheeran's song "The Shape of You", which brought this artist the Grammy Award for the best solo pop music performance.

In third place is Lewis Capaldi's song "Someone You Loved", which is also the first hit on his first album.

Harry Styles' "As It Was" took fourth place, followed by The Weeknd's "Starboy," Post Malone's "Sunflower," Drake's "One Dance," The Neighbourhood's "Sweater Weather," "Stay" by The Kid Laroy and "Believer" by "Imagine Dragons".
