Struga will play in Albania the "Play Off" match of the Conference League against Breidablik! UEFA has decided not to license the Strumica stadium because it does not meet the conditions to play such an important match.

In this way, Struga will play in the "Elbasan Arena" stadium, where the field is in perfect condition and the stadium conditions are among the most modern. The news has been confirmed by the Albanian Football Federation itself.

The Struga-Breidablik challenge, valid for the UEFA Conference League play-off stage, will be played on August 24 at the "Elbasan Arena" stadium, at 19:00.

The decision was made in consultation between UEFA, the Football Federation of North Macedonia and the Albanian Football Federation, as the Struga stadium did not meet the criteria of the European football government for the matches of this stage.

Also, no other stadium in North Macedonia currently meets UEFA's criteria, and therefore it was agreed with the AFL that Struga's first match will be played in Albania.

In addition to the stadium, the Albanian Football Federation will offer all its assistance for the best possible organization of the match thanks to the great experience it has in hosting international competitions", writes the AFF in its communiqué.
