The Drenica club has decided to fire coach Bylbyl Sokoli. The reason for this is that the well-known technician appeared on the list as a candidate for deputy in Kosovo, for "Vetvendosjen".

In an official statement, the club announced the coach's departure, saying that sport should be separated from politics.

"The dismissal of the coach of the Drenica Football Club

Dear citizens and fans of the Drenica Football Club,

With this announcement, we would like to inform you that, on 11.12.2024, the coach of the Drenica Football Club, Mr. Bylbyl Sokoli, has been relieved of his duties. This decision was taken after the announcement of Mr. Sokoli, who has decided to engage in the political race.

The decision is the result of the club's commitment to maintain impartiality and avoid any possible political influence in our sporting activities. Drenica Football Club remains determined to keep sport separate from daily politics, and this step is in line with our principles.

We want to thank Mr. Sokoli for his dedication and for the successes he has achieved during the period of cooperation.

In the following days and weeks, the Drenica Football Club will announce the name of the new coach, who will continue to lead the team on its journey to the First League title.
