The salary of Thomas Tuchel at Bayern Munich is revealed

Just days after being appointed coach of Bayern Munich, the German press is reporting that Thomas Tuchel's earnings will be similar to those he received at Chelsea and PSG.

On Friday, the German club announced it was parting ways with tactician Julian Nagelsmann, who was originally under contract until 2026.

This came on the back of a very average run of results in the Bundesliga (five wins, two losses and three draws), as well as the fact that they conceded top spot to rivals Dortmund after losing 2-1 to Leverkusen last Sunday.

Just a day later, former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel was named as his replacement, and the German will begin to fill his bank account with large sums of money.

As for the details of his contract, German media have reported that the former PSG manager will earn between 10 and 12 million euros per year, which means he will surpass his predecessor Nagelsmann.

That amount would see him earn at least €20 million overall due to signing a contract until 2025 with the German side.
