The Serie A star rejects Italy, chooses the national team he will represent

Matias Soule is one of the surprises of this season in Serie A. The 20-year-old Italian-Argentine was loaned from Juventus to Frosinone, and is doing quite well with the team that has returned to the elite of Italian football.

The right forward has 5 goals and one assist with Frosinone. The positive performances have not escaped the eye of Luciano Spalletti, who is ready to make him part of the blue national team.

But Soule, who hopes to continue his fantastic performances at Frosinone to return to Juventus next season, prefers his native Argentina.

"I talked to Spalletti, I told him the truth, that I felt Argentine. I thanked him because he wanted me in Italy. Then I also spoke with Walter Samuel (part of the technical staff of the world champions).

He told me that I was part of the preliminary list. I'm waiting for Argentina, I don't know if the invitation will arrive now or later, but I'm Argentinian. I was born there and my heart always tells me Argentina", said Matias Soule.
