The women's team made all Albanians around the world proud, as they secured the Champions League groups, after the 2-1 triumph in "Loro Boriçi", against Vorskla Kharkiv, in the valuable duel for "Play-Off".

The president of Shkodran, Lazer Matija, is undoubtedly responsible for this historic success, who, thanks to his investment and seriousness, managed to build a fantastic team. Matija spoke about today's success, as in a statement for the media, he said:

“Sot është moment gëzimi për qytetin e për futbollin shqiptar. Arritje mjaft e madhe ndonjëherë në sportin shqiptar. Para disa vitesh ishte ëndërr tashmë realitet. Puna ndër vite e vajzave dhe klubit e ka kthye në një objektiv këtë ëndërr.

Kemi vrare ndërgjegjen e atyre pa ndërgjegje. Ne do të vazhdojmë të punojmë pasi ky ekip është krenari kombëtare e jo shkodrane.
