VIDEO/ Skënderbeu lost the title in the last seconds, President Takaj appears in tears  

Laçi has been declared the champion of the First Category after a dramatic 1-0 away victory against Skënderbeg, overturning the table hierarchy in the final seconds of the season.

The match was decided by Kurti's goal in the last minute of extra time, snatching the title from the Korçë team, who had led the championship throughout the year.

This result left the home camp shocked, with president Ardian Takaj seen stunned in the stands as the Kurbin celebrations began on the field.

The number 1 player of the Korça club could not hold back his tears, as he saw the title slip away from his hands in a matter of seconds.

After the match ended, Skënderbeg players burst into tears, including goalkeeper Dobjani who was surrounded by fans on the field.

At the ceremony, the president of the Albanian Football Association, Armand Duka, was seen congratulating and exchanging jokes with the president of Laç, Pashk Laska.

Today's triumph seals a successful season for the Kurbinas team, who return to the elite with the championship trophy.
