Alban Beqiri triumphs in the Balkan Boxing Championship 2024 and waves the "red" flag in Loznica, Serbia, where this activity took place.

Beqiri won the gold medal, while he was declared champion of the Balkans for the second time in the 71 kg category.

The boxer, who holds the highest international score in the history of Albania, as the only medalist in a world for adults, appeared in excellent form.

The 30-year-old Albanian triumphed in three duels in the 2024 Balkan Championship, to be declared champion.

The "red" boxer defeated the Serbian opponent, Igor Rogic, in the first match, then followed with a victory against the Albanian boxer of North Macedonia, Anis Ali.

Meanwhile, in the final, he triumphed over the Ukrainian Matiakubov, second world champion and European champion.

Albania in this championship was represented by nine boxers, who competed two in the adult categories, two in the youth categories and five in the junior categories. /CNA
