Uzuni writes history in Spain, becomes a legend of Granada

The striker of the Albanian national football team, Myrto Uzuni, writes history with Granada.

The 29-year-old from Berat has scored a total of 44 goals with the Granada team from January 2022 until Saturday evening.

On November 30, 2024, Uzuni reached the record holder of the Spanish club, Youssef El Arabi, who was the only one who had scored 44 goals.

The goal scored in the 2-1 defeat of Granada in the transfer of Almeria, in La Liga 2, made the "red" striker to reach a historical moment.

The Albanian found the way to the net in the 45+1' minute and gave his team a momentary advantage, as he enjoyed the special moment.

It is worth noting that unlike the Moroccan who has scored this number of goals in 134 matches, Uzuni has succeeded in his 102nd game.
