The U-15 girls' national team has started gathering in Tirana since Friday, as part of the "UEFA Development" tournament for this age group. Under the direction of coach Daniela Kodra, the 20 red and black girls are conducting training sessions at the "House of Football".

In a statement for "fshf.org", coach Kodra expressed her happiness that she was entrusted with the bench of the U-15 National Team and hopes that the team will get positive results in this tournament.

"Very happy and it is a very big responsibility at the same time. I want to thank the Football Association for the trust they have given me and I am confident that we will succeed, achieve something good and give these girls what they need, an impetus to move forward and find the right path to football", she said. 


As for the team, the Albanian coach expressed that she has faith in the girls invited to represent Albania in this tournament and is happy that they have chosen to play for the red and black colors.

"The team consists of girls who play in the Albanian championship and girls who come from championships outside Albania. We are happy to see how happy they are about the invitation they received from the national team. This motivates us as staff to work harder for them and give our best. I have faith in this group. They are girls who know how to play football well, they love football. I think we will get 100% from each of them. Our objective is to perform as well as possible, to make the best matches possible and for the girls to enjoy it. For me, the important thing is that the girls, after returning to their homes after this tournament, feel motivated and have an incentive to work harder and have it as a beautiful memory in their career ", said Daniela Kodra.

Albania will play the first match on Monday against Kosovo, at 15:00 at the premises of the "House of Football". On October 2, the red and black girls will play against Estonia, while on October 5, Albania will play the third and last match of the tournament against North Macedonia.
