The defender of the Albanian national football team, Marash Kumbulla, is introduced to the Espanyol club.

Despite having played the first matches with the Spanish club, the Albanian defender was only presented to the media on Thursday.

The 24-year-old expressed his happiness for the transfer to Espanyol, while emphasizing that he did his best to join this team.

"Very happy to be here, when the opportunity arose, I did everything possible to come here. I have felt very good these three weeks, everything has been positive on and off the field and I hope that everything will continue like this", said Kumbulla first.

He thanked coach Gonzales for the trust given to him as well as the Espanyol fans for the great support they offered him.

"I want to thank the coach for the trust he gave me from the beginning and the fans who supported me," added the Albanian.
