Edoardo Reja was dismissed, the well-known team is entrusted to an Albanian

Edoardo Reja's adventure on the ND Gorica bench lasted a little over a month and a half.

The Slovenian club announced the separation from the Italian coach and his assistants through a reaction on the official website.

"Reja has managed Gorica in 7 matches and during this period there have been 2 wins, a draw and 4 losses. His assistants Sergio Porrini and Luigi Febbrari will also leave the club. We thank Reja for his efforts and wish him luck in his future challenges," the club of ND Gorica informs.

However, after Reja's dismissal, the Slovenian club entrusted the management of the team to a coach of Albanian origin.

50-year-old Agron Salja, who previously coached the NK Celje team as well as the U-17 and U-19 national teams of Slovenia, will coach the ND Gorica team.
